We have consistently pursued high quality based on Japanese standards while expanding the possibilities of lining technology.
Today, we support a wide range of industries—including semiconductors, chemical processing, logistics, and environmental sectors—through the design, manufacturing, and maintenance of high-performance products utilizing our lining technologies.
Through the close collaboration of our group companies across Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, China, and the United States, we provide consistent, high-quality services on a global scale.
In addition, our integrated system—covering consultation, design, manufacturing, and maintenance—enables us to respond effectively to the diverse needs of our customers.

Quality Control
We have established our quality policy in accordance with ISO 9001, the international standard for quality management systems.
In alignment with our organizational goals and direction, this policy is shared throughout the company, and all manufacturing and service processes are properly managed.
Traceability is ensured for the sheets used in each part of our products, enabling prompt response—even back to raw materials—in the unlikely event of an issue.
In addition, we maintain highly specialized structures across our manufacturing, inspection, and support departments.
- Manufacturing Department
- Only personnel who have passed our internal Welding Certification are authorized to perform installation work.
- Quality Control Department
- Only personnel certified as Quality Inspectors are responsible for inspections.
- Customer Support
- We provide maintenance and repair services for customer tanks, ensuring a safe and reliable operating environment over the long term.
Through this system, we consistently deliver high-quality products while providing our customers with peace of mind.
Intertek Certification Co., Ltd. is a UKAS-accredited certification body (Accreditation No. 0014).
History
- 1992
Founded by Mitsumasa Yoshida, Sun Fluoro System Co., Ltd. was established in Ibaraki City, Osaka, with a team of seven experienced professionals, including skilled engineers, designers, and installation specialists.
Leveraging their expertise, the company was founded with the aim of supplying lining equipment that meets customer requirements across a wide range of industries. - 1997
A new type of lining material—m-PTFE sheet laminated with glass cloth—was developed and evaluated through application testing on containers and storage tanks.
Based on this technology, Daikin Industries, Ltd. further developed the m-PTFE GB (APV) sheet.The company later relocated its headquarters to Settsu City, Osaka.
- 1998
The m-PTFE GB (APV) sheet was commercialized by Daikin Industries, Ltd., and has since been actively adopted.
ISO 9001 certification was obtained, and a system was established to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs.
Subsequently, this evolved into a proprietary quality management system aligned with ISO 9001 while integrated into the company’s own operations. - 2001
A local subsidiary in Taiwan (currently Sun Fluoro System Taiwan Co., Ltd.) was established.
To expand in the Taiwanese market, a manufacturing facility was constructed in Taoyuan, Taiwan.
- 2012
SUN FLUORO SYSTEM KOREA CO., LTD. was established as a local subsidiary in South Korea, along with the completion of a manufacturing facility.
- 2013
The South Korean facility was completed.
- 2018
ISO 9001:2015 certification was obtained.
A local subsidiary in China, Shengfuluo Fluoropolymer Equipment (Nantong) Co., Ltd. (Sun Fluoro System China), was established.
- 2020
A manufacturing facility in China was completed.
A new headquarters and factory were constructed in Ibaraki City, Osaka, and the headquarters was relocated.
- 2022
An assembly plant was built adjacent to the headquarters.
SUN FLUORO SYSTEM, INC. was established in Arizona, USA.
- 2024
With the expansion of the Taiwanese market, a new factory was constructed in Taoyuan, Taiwan, and the office was relocated.
- 2025
The U.S. subsidiary, SUN FLUORO SYSTEM, INC., relocated its headquarters within Arizona.
